According to the basic principle and calculation model of water resources ecological footprint, the water resources ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity from 2009-2013 in Ganjiang River Basin were analyzed. The results show that the ecological carrying capacity and total ecological footprint of Ganjiang River Basin in 2010 and 2012 is higher than other three years. The ecological carrying capacity of water resources in Ganzhou River Basin is more than the ecological footprint, the ecological surplus exists.
