Objective: To investigate the clinical contribution of atherothrombectomy with Straub Rotarex system for femoropopliteal arterial occlusive disease.Materials and Methods: Eighteen patients with a mean age of 62.6±8.6 years presented with acute or subacute occlusion(<3days,10 cases; 3 days to 1 month,5 cases; >1month,3 cases)of the femoral(12 cases)or popliteal(6 cases)arteries,and treated with a mechanical rotational Straub Rotarex catheter.
