Control Interface Module with Improved Compatibility for Greenhouse Environment Control

  Environment of greenhouse such as temperature, humidity, light, CO2, EC, and pH are controlled through different sensors.In this study, control interface module was developed to improve the compatibility of greenhouse environment control system for controlling the greenhouse environment.The control method considered the type of crop, growth stage, and regional characteristics, and also used simple and complex control for the satisfaction of optimal growth conditions.In the commercialized greenhouse environment controlling system the efficiency can be down because of using control algorithm that fixed the specific equipment.Therefore, this study aimed to develop an enhanced control interface module in compatibility that could apply several control algorithms.After modularity atmega128 was in mainboard of the control part and the performance on input/output functions was improved and then the continuity of operations was secured by available in Removable and attachable.A complex control algorithm was developed using systems such as ON/OFF, PID, and Fuzzy.Therefore, control board modulization that could secure the continuity of operations as simple part of replacement type without expert and improving performance are possible after control generating the incidental expenses in that maintain and conservation of product.
