Global warming has increased the frequency and intensity of drought events during last decades.To access the effects of drought on soil moisture and soil temperature, we conducted a throughfall exclusion experiment to simulate the drought stress in a tropical rainforest, and measured the soil water content and soil temperature for 3 years.
