To isolate differentially expressed peanut genes potentially related to oil accumulation, we examined the gene expression on 40 and 47 days after flowering (DAF) in developing seeds of Huayu 22, a normal oil peanut cultivar with 49.5% oil, and its high oil chemical mutant, O1, with 60.9% oil, using genefishing technology.
