海底电缆定期检测对海缆安全运行的作用及基本方法

文章首先对影响海底电缆安全运行因素进行了分析,认为海底电缆检测主要包括海缆运行的路由动态、海缆埋设深度的变化、海缆登陆点和交越点位置情况、海缆在大跨度海底沟坎的动态、暴露于海床面海缆磨损和腐蚀情况以及可以测得的海缆内部运行数据变化等。可以采用海缆路由勘测的多波束声呐系统和侧扫声呐系统(含GPS定位)、海缆埋深勘测的浅地层剖面系统和磁探系统(含GPS定位)、对海缆交越位置和大跨度海底沟坎海缆情况查勘的水下录像设备(水质可见)和水下图像声呐系统(浑水情况),以及潜水员水下查勘方法;可以对暴露于海床面的海缆磨损和腐蚀进行调查勘测,也可以采用水下录像设备/水下图像声呐系统,及潜水员水下查勘方法;对海缆内部运行数据变化情况,海缆运行管理部门的运行控制及监测系统本身,就可以提供可靠的运行监测数据,同时形成海缆定期检测的常态化管理,以此保证海缆安全运行。
