China has demonstrated to be one of the ideal R&D outsourcing countries,with the advantages of its lower costs and excellent human resources.Chemistry service in China has been a greatly successful story for helping western pharmaceutical companies.However,most western pharmaceutical industries are hesitant to move pre-clinical drug evaluations to China.Currently,several animal facilities in China have passed AAALAC accreditation and are offering preclinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacology services along with GLP toxicological services (ADMET services).In this presentation,the current status for preclinical PK/PD services in China will be discussed.
