The Tibetan Plateau is famous for its “Roof of the World.” Its uplift, young growth, geological structure and the uniqueness of the terrain, as early as the Chinese and foreign scholars have attracted the attention, to work hard to overcome. The reason why it has such a special status is inseparable from its own geological structure. Professor Li Siguang, an outstanding geologist, has made brilliant expositions on the geological structure of the area and laid the foundation for the study of the geological structure of the area. Since the 1960s, geologists and geophysical workers in China have successively published papers and explored and studied their characteristics from their own perspectives. The following from 1973, based on the key geological survey in the eastern and central Tibet, combined with the relevant information of the predecessor, and referring to satellite image maps and other information, talk about the tectonic system in Tibet.
