An efficient and cost effective method is developed in this research to determine pore diffusivities (Dp) and liquid film mass transfer coefficients (kF) for phenolic compound (p-chlorophenol, PCP) onto resins.Currently, there is no efficient method to determine Dp and kF simultaneously for both intraparticle diffusion and liquid film mass transfer controlling adsorption systems.Both intraparticle diffusion coefficient (De) and liquid film mass transfer coefficient (kF) are important for designing and operating fixed bed reactors.
