The advent of information and communication technologies has changed the way language is taught and makes it possible for language to be learned and taught in multimodal and multidimensional environments.Integrating ICT into language teaching has been practiced by many language teachers and researchers and proved to be an effective way to enhance the teaching.This paper focuses on task-based language teaching with information and communication technologies.Based on pedagogical principles and classroom experiences and practices, this paper first explores how ICT is integrated into task-based language teaching, secondly it puts forward a sample model for task-based college English listening and speaking class.Then it goes on to analyze the role of the teacher in ICT-mediated task-based language teaching.
