Bone tissue engineering is thought as an effective and promising method to repair bone defects,of which scaffolds, seed cells and microenvironment are three major composites. Our previous study has proved that the processed ostrich bone can be a possible resource of tissue engineering scaffolds.BMMSCs are regularly used as seed cells. In my study, the ostrich bone was processed in chemical and physical way, which was named as the ceramic ostrich bone (COB).
