　　In this talk,some properties of the Beurling-Ahlfors operator and the Burkholder functional are introduced.They are related to the Iwaniecs conjecture and Banuelos-Wang conjecture.Some recent results about the sharp estimates of the Beurling-Ahlfors operator and the Burkholder functional are also given.
