  SPPs are considered as one of the most promising technology for the realization of highly integrated optical circuits due to their capacity to manipulate light at nanoscale and overcome the diffraction limit of light.So far,a number of functional components based SPPs have been investigated for the generation,propagation,manipulation,and detection of light.Generally,the manipulation of SPPs are realized by designing special metallic nanostructures,such as periodical nanoholes,waveguides,nanoparticles,and so on.
