  Double negative materials(DNMs)with simultaneously negative permittivity and negative permeability have attracted extensive attention worldwide in recent years because of their various potential applications in electronic,microwave and optics.Different from metamaterials which gain their double negative properties not from their composition but from their exactingly-designed structures,random DNMs is proposed from the point of view of materials,i.e.intrinsic properties determined by chemical composition and microstructure.
