The generation and the use of renewable energy are considered to be effective in reducing CO2 emissions in horticulture, where fossil fuel input for heating is significant.Organic photovoltaic (OPV)film is developing material having light, flexible and transparent characteristics which may be advantageous to horticultural use.In the present study, light-transmitting thin film organic photovoltaics were developed and the technologys compatibility to tomato greenhouses was examined in order to achieve crop and power co-production in horticulture.
