In this study,we combined ten-year observational data of eight phenophases on 90 tropical tree species,transplanted at a seasonal drought site,with simultaneous climatic information.The study site is located at Jianfengling Tropical Arboretum Garden in Hainan Island,South China.We divided these tropical species into evergreen and deciduous groups,and aimed to document phenological patterns between these two groups after decades of adaptation in the site,determining their driven climatic factors and quantify the effects of potential climate change on these patterns.
