We explored new intriguing reactions using conjugated imines and subsequent selective transformations.The following reactions will be discussed:1) Highly Diastereoselective Tandem N-Alkylation-Mannich Reaction of α-Imino Ester We have studied umpolung reactions of α-imino esters and have already reported N-alkylation-coupling reactions.[1] We have now found the first highly diastereoselctive tandem N-alkylation-Mannich reaction of α-iminoesteres.
