Here, we aimed at examining how urine-borne volatile compounds (UVCs) and major urine proteins (MUPs) of male mice interacted to modulate chemosensory preferences of females for potential male mates using two inbred strains of mice, C57/B6BL/6J (C57) and BALB/cJ (BALB), and their reciprocal hybrids (BC=BALB ♀ ×C57♂;CB=C57♀ ×BALB♂).
