Master sintering curve(MSC)analysis has been extensively applied to a range of ceramic materials since its introduction by Johnson and Su in 1996.The appeal of this approach is that a minimal amount of sintering data is collected, the model is applied to the data and a single densification curve and fitting parameter is generated.Theoretically, the fitting parameter describes the sintering behavior of a particular material formed a certain way from initial through final stages of densification.Time and temperature conditions yielding any density can be determined from the curve.
