Magnetoelectric composites with 3-1 type connectivity structure were fabricated by a freeze-casting technique and a sol-gel method.By a novel freeze-casting technique,lead zirconate titanate(PZT)ceramic bodies with unidirectional ordered and gradient porous structures with solid loading varied from 20 vol%to 40 vol%were fabricated,using tert-butyl alcohol(TBA)as pore template,PVB as adhesive and Arab tree powder as dispersing agent.
