In Marfan patients, 15% of aortic root dilation is associated to chest wall deformities.Because of potential associated major complications, simultaneous cardiac and pcctus repair has been historically avoided.Currently, aortic valve sparing procedure and conservative mitral valve surgery, avoiding anticoagulation, allow sternum reconstruction in the same surgical time.We report our series of Marfan patients submitted to a staged or combined procedure.
