The cold rolling deformation on microstructure, strength, elongation, corrosion properties are investigated in as-quenched AA5083 plate.It shows that large deformation rusults in work hardening and more stored energy to make it easy to recrystallize at lower temperature and more nucleation, therefore smaller size of recrystallization and higher plasticity.
