  Phytohormone Jasmonates(JA)as well as its receptor protein COI1 are known to play pivotal role in secondary metabolic regulation.In our recent studies,we investigated the roles of tobacco F-box protein COI1(NtCOIl)in regulating secondary metabolism with MCQ/7-silenced tobacco(Nicotiana tabacum L.cv.TN90)developed by RNAi-mediated gene silencing.
