The second session of the steel industry academic annual energy-saving and Metallurgical Energy Society Working Conference, in October 29, 1985 to November 2 held in Shenyang Northeast Institute of Technology. 108 representatives from the Ministry of Metallurgy, steel enterprises, universities and research institutes attended the meeting. Wang Zhixi, Chen Xing and Lu Zhongwu, leaders of China Metallurgical Society and Metallurgical Energy Society, attended the meeting and made speeches. The conference read and exchanged 46 papers. The conference’s essay has two main features: one is based on the basic concepts and methods of “carrying energy,” “exergy,” “exergy analysis,” and “systematic engineering”
