受难曲(passion)是以耶稣受难的故事为题材而创作的一种宗教歌曲,以拉丁文演唱为主,在传统的宗教祭祀仪式中较为常见。随着时代的发展,使得受难曲以各种不同的风格形式呈现于世人面前,同时在西方宗教音乐中占有相当重要的地位。受难曲的产生、形成及发展经历了一个漫长的过程。早在公元4世纪,受难曲就以古老的神秘剧和教堂仪式的形式在欧洲出现了,著名的神学家圣·奥古斯丁在其著述中曾提到复活节前一周要在教堂举行朗诵耶稣受难故事的礼仪,这就是关于受难仪式的最早文献记载。
Passion is a religious song based on the story of the crucifixion. It is mainly composed of Latin capitals and is more common in traditional religious rituals. With the development of the times, the suffering song is presented in various forms to the world, meanwhile it occupies a very important position in the western religious music. The birth, formation and development of the suffering have gone through a long process. As early as the 4th century AD, the suffering appeared in Europe in the form of ancient mystery dramas and church ceremonies. The famous theologian Saint Augustine mentioned in his writings that a week before Easter, a recitation of the crucifixion of Jesus Etiquette, which is the earliest documentary about the ritual of crucifixion.
