Determining whether the oil vapor concentration in the space containing oil and petroleum storage is within the explosive limits is generally measured by measuring the temperature of the oil against the explosion temperature limit of the oil. However, for a fixed-roof large tank, since it is not always kept in airtight condition and the oil vapor in the tank space is in many cases unsaturated, the method of measuring the temperature of the oil can not accurately represent the vapor in the tank concentration. However, to clarify this issue, it is necessary to understand the rationality and feasibility of setting gas balance lines in tank farms, the necessary protection to prevent the spread of flames along such lines, the necessity of setting up breathing valves and flame arresters, The possibility of repairs on the tank, the possibility of an explosion in the adjacent tank after the tank fire, the handling of the tank already in the fire, and so on are issues of vital importance to safety.
