Zhang Gaoli, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council and director of the State Council’s food safety committee, chaired the second plenary session of the State Council’s Food Safety Committee on the 29th and made a speech. The meeting conscientiously studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on food safety and learned Premier Li Keqiang’s directive on food safety. He comprehensively summarized the food safety work in 2014 and researched and deployed the 2015 key tasks of food safety.
