Bird-Mycobacterium avium complex (Ma-c) infection is the most common opportunistic pathogen infection in AIDS patients and is significantly associated with a high case-fatality rate in AIDS patients. Ma-c was rare before the AIDS epidemic Causing infection in humans, disseminated avian mycobacterium intracellulare (dMa-c) infection is more rare, but with the spread of AIDS, dMa-c infection in patients is increasing.Research shows that AIDS patients before 15% ~ 40%, and post mortem autopsy more than 50% of the cases found dMa-c infection. Therefore, many studies have been carried out in the field of foreign medical science. This paper reviews the progress of its etiology, epidemiology and clinical aspects.
