由于E型磨煤机空心球铸件直径、壁厚、型芯都比较大,铸造过程中补缩、排气困难,易出现缩孔、缩松、气孔、夹杂等缺陷。通过实验,提出空心球铸造内冷铁体积可取铸件热节圆的0.4~0.6倍、形状为随形球面网状,以及型芯内充填小块焦炭以提高型芯排气性及减轻型芯重量等一系列空心球铸造工艺方法,并成功地应用于该类铸件的铸造生产,取得了良好效果。
