有关青海蒙古族妇女的生育习俗虽有资料零星记载,然而至今却未见有人对其进行完整而系统的专题调查与分析研究;尤其在当今改革开放、实施计划生育国策的过程中,生育习俗与生育观现状及变化的研究,可谓空白.笔者就此问题,在实地调查获取第一手材料和参阅了有关资料的基础上写成此文.旨在引起有关方面关注,共同来探讨提高西蒙古妇女地位,寻找提高人口素质的途径.
