上海石化企业发展有限公司位于美丽的杭州湾畔,是中国石化上海石油化工股份有限公司全资子公司,是一家拥有11亿元资产,1万多名员工,年销售收入逾15亿元,集投资管理与经营实体为一体的大型综合性企业。为把上海石化建设成为具有国际竞争力的石油化工企业,根据股份公司“精干主业、主辅分离,发展多种经营”的战略思路,1998年10月28日,拥有独立法人资格的上海石化企业发展有限公司揭牌成立,标志着上海石化主辅业分离的格局基本形成。
