日前,我读了广州天荣中学胡立成老师撰写的《实用·突破·创新》(载于《应用写作》2003年第1期)一文,对其中所提及的在中学语文教学中重视应用写作和相应训练不够,学生应用写作能力严重低下的现象,产生了深深的同感和强烈的共鸣。实际上,在我们的身边,因不懂应用文写作而闹出笑话、遭遇尴尬甚至造成失误的事例不可胜数。这不能不说是语文教学者的一种悲哀。甚至可以说它直接影响到社会公众对语文教学和语文教师作用发挥的认识和评价。
