A pigs good health,its production and the quality of the end product are all very much affected by the type and quality of its feed.Special provisions and check controls should take place on a regular basis not only for the estimation of feed ingredients nutritional value,but also for the absence of microorganisms and chemical compounds that can lead to pig health problems and negatively affect its meat.One category of substances that can cause very adverse problems to pig production is mycotoxins.
