As a basic course in postgraduate cultivating program, postgraduate English course in military colleges has been attached great importance by education management organizations, teachers and students.To adapt to new changes and requirements, postgraduate English teaching must be reformed, ensuring that postgraduate students meet the quality demand of postgraduate English course standard, and that English study can effectively serve the professional research and foreign exchange.Based on the postgraduate English teaching in my university, and aiming at the existing problems in postgraduate English teaching in military colleges, the necessity of reform is analyzed in terms of teaching model, teaching philosophy, educational technique, examination mechanism, learning atmosphere and teaching team construction.
