现今在景观美学研究方面,国内外有2种方向:1是关注景观建筑本身的形式美,通过国外的现代心理学的一下观点进行研究,用人类学的角度来审视,这方面成功在国外也较为丰富。但缺点是容易单纯地从形式美出发,使得景观美学研究过于肤浅表面。还有一种主要是在中国为主,立足传统艺术美学观念,是围绕传统探讨对景观的意境研究,研究点多为江苏地区的古典园林。运用用古代画论以及造园论等进行描述性地阐释。但缺乏向国外那样以现代心理学和现代美学成果为手段进行解析性研究方,所以导致缺乏创新性,大部分论文雷同。从研究着眼点集中在某一种建造现象的表面,与其他艺术领域的美学研究相比缺少闪光之处。这也是当下众多景观建造创作走形式主义路线、作品缺乏内涵与品位而造成。

From the point of view of research focused on the surface of a certain kind of construction phenomenon, there is a lack of glitz in comparison with other aesthetic studies in the field of art. This is also caused by the fact that many landscape constructions nowadays take the formalist line and lack the content and taste of works.
