现在电火花加工机床已不是什么特殊的机械了,与其它通用的机床一样,在制造厂作为必须的机械而被较多地使用。并且,随着机床性能的显著提高,加工领域也渐渐扩大。但是,精密微小加工是发展比较晚的一个加工领域。近年来,在与原子能和电子学有关的范围内,对精密微小加工的要求急剧增加,本文所述的标准人工缺陷的加工即是其中之一例。标准人工缺陷的电火花加工是利用了电火花加工的特长和优点,巧妙地补偿了它的缺点,使得对于其它加工方法来说非常困难的微小形状也能比较容易地加工出来。
