造粒流化床反应器很早就被应用于水质软化过程。通过中试研究了造粒流化床反应器在不同pH值、晶种粒径、水力条件下处理效能和压力的变化。结果表明:针对当地水质,在反应器填充0.1~0.25 mm石榴石晶种、上升流速为60~100 m/h条件下,最佳投药量为110 mg/L,此时反应器出水pH值约为9.4,出水硬度为80 mg/L,去除率大于70%,碳酸氢盐为150 mg/L,出水浊度<1.0 NTU,对铁、锰的去除率分别约为40%和60%。结晶颗粒增长速率约为1.96×10-9m/s,排放粒径为0.9~1.2 mm,碳酸钙质量分数>99%。当水处理量为8 000 m3/d时,单位处理成本为0.65元/m3。这为实际工程建设提供了参考。
