If Pinter’s ambivalent psychic concern and his ambivalent attitude determine his dual view of political issues, then this dual perspective is reflected in his new form in his treatment of the gender theme on. The dual nature of the theme of the genre does not evolve socially and psychologically, but is skillfully manifested by two voices-the voice of a man as a personal pride and a voice of a socialite as a writer. The former regards the woman as the mother and the object of sexual intercourse by the patriarchal power. The latter adopts the objective sense of justice to say that the women suffered from repression and injustice in the traditional gender relations. This duality gives Pinter’s dramatic unique artistic effect.
