扬子区奥陶系、志留系十分发育，内含丰富的横板珊瑚化石，是横板珊瑚起源中心之一．从横板珊瑚赋存特点入手，较系统地综合、概括了区内横板珊瑚的起源及迁移．奥陶纪—志留纪在扬子区起源的横板珊瑚科有Ａｇｅｔｏｌｉｔｉｄａｅ，Ｆｌｅｔｃｈｅｒｉｅｌｉｄａｅ，Ｏｃｕｌｉｐｏｒｉｄａｅ，Ｃｌｅｉｓｔｏｐｏｒｉｄａｅ，Ｇｒａｃｉｌｏｐｏｒｉｄａｅ，Ｓｉｎｏｐｏｒｉｄａｅ，Ｔｒｏｃｈｉｓｃｏｌｉｔｈｉｄａｅ，Ｔｈａｍｎｏｐｏｒｉｎａｅ（亚科），其迁徙方式有两种：一是从扬子区向亚洲东部、北美、欧洲等地迁移；另一种是从扬子区向世界各地扩散
Ordovician in Yangtze area, Silurian is very developed, contains rich horizontal coral fossils, horizontal plate coral is one of the origin. Beginning with the characteristics of horizontal coral occurrence, we systematically summarized the origin and migration of horizontal coral in the area. Ordovician - Silurian in the Yangtze area originated from the horizontal plate coral Agetolitidae, Fletcherielidae, Oculiporidae, Cleistopori dae, Graciloporidae, Sinoporidae, Trochiscolithidae, Thamnoporinae (subfamily), its migration in two ways: First, from the Yangtze District to East Asia, North America, Europe and other places to migrate; the other is from the Yangtze area to spread around the world
