“六本书挑战赛”(Six Book Challenge)是由英国阅读社发起的一个全国性质的成人阅读推广项目,以阅读社的数据库和网络商店为资源支撑。其核心工作是组织识字水平不高的成年人利用半年时间读6本书,并记录阅读感受和随想,以促进参赛者阅读习惯的培养、信息素养的提升以及人格的塑造。我国在借鉴英国“六本书挑战赛”的基础上,应打破行业限制,联合多种社会机构共同推广;根据成人阅读水平倡导分级阅读,使阅读更具针对性;创新宣传方式,增强阅读活动的影响力和吸引力,从而促进阅读推广。
The Six Book Challenge is a nationwide adult reading promotion launched by the British Reading Agency that uses resources from the Reading Club’s database and online store. Its core task is to organize adults with low level of literacy to read 6 books in half a year, and to record reading feelings and thoughts in order to promote participants’ reading habits, information literacy and personality shaping. On the basis of drawing lessons from the British “Six Book Challenges ”, China should break the industry restrictions and jointly promote with a variety of social institutions. According to the reading level of adults, it will promote reading in a more orderly manner, and make the reading more targeted. Read the influence and appeal of the event to promote reading.
