《诗经·采薇》中“雨雪霏霏”中的“雨”字的读音和意义历来颇受争议。有人认为读为[yù],用如动词,意思为“落”、“降下”;又有人认为读为[yǔ],用如名词。前者为历来教材通用,但是笔者从《十三经注疏》对其的训释,名词活用为动词的规则以及《诗经》的体例特点考察,认为此处“雨”字读为[yǔ],作名词更为恰当。
The pronunciation and meaning of the word “rain” in “The Book of Songs · Cai Wei” has always been controversial. Some people think that reading [yù], with a verb, meaning “falling”, “down”; others think that read [yǔ], use as the noun. The former is a textbook which has always been used as a textbook. However, from the explanation and interpretation of the “Thirteen Annotation” and the rules for the use of verbs as the verb and the characteristics of the “Book of Songs”, the author thinks that the term “rain” is read as [yǔ] , As a noun is more appropriate.
