Our brigade set up a cooperative medical service in 1971 and has 2 barefoot doctors. In May of the same year, under the leadership of Party organizations at all levels, a brigade led the flood prevention team and decided to have a barefoot doctor specialize in flood prevention work. In March 1976, with the help of the county social security organization, we conducted a census of tuberculosis patients to the entire brigade and confirmed 13 patients with tuberculosis (10 active patients). This situation caused the brigade party branch to pay attention to it and held several meetings to specifically study the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis.
