在我国,每年国庆节是举办传统婚礼的高峰期,而八、九两月则是办理结婚登记人数最多的月份。但据有关方面对几个大城市的统计,今年却都出现了异动情况,与往年同期相比,到婚姻登记部门办理结婚登记的人数呈大幅下降的情况,其主要原因是,有一部分人处在“等婚”状态,想延迟到10月1日起实行新《婚姻登记条例》后,才办理登记手续,因为从此时起取消了此前必须进行的强制性婚检。而到了10月1日之后,进行结婚登记的人数虽开始上升,但主动前往进行婚前检查的人数却又大幅减少。据上海市的有关婚检机构进行的对比统计显示,下降幅度达到惊人的90％左右。再
