吴淞商船专科学校是中国第一所培养商船驾驶和轮机人员的高等学府。作为中国高等商船航海教育的先驱,该校在航海人才培育方面进行了许多有益的探索与实践,为我国高等航海教育的现代化、系统化、专业化作出了重要贡献。本文旨在通过对吴淞商船专科学校招生制度、生源地、专业、学制与课程设置、师资力量和教学管理、毕业生就业趋向等问题的探讨,以期对民国时期我国高等商船航海教育的历史经验进行初步总结和分析。
Wusong Merchant Shipping College is China’s first higher education institutions to train merchant-driven and marine personnel. As a pioneer of maritime education for higher merchant shipping in China, the university has conducted many beneficial explorations and practices in marine navigation training and made important contributions to the modernization, systematization and specialization of higher maritime education in our country. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the enrollment system of Wusong Merchant Marine College, the origin of students, the specialty, the system of study and curriculum, the teaching staff and teaching management, the employment trend of graduates and so on, with a view to carrying on the historical experience of China’s higher merchant marine education during the Republic of China Preliminary summary and analysis.
