戏曲是一种以表演为中心的,经过千百年民族文化积淀,以高度浓缩、洗练的程式化为主要表现形态的传统艺术形式。从美学特质来看,它以虚拟、写意为特征,在刻画人物时运用唱、念、做、打等综合手段,既要得其人物状貌,又要兼移其神气,力求神形兼备的美学追求。而戏曲电视剧除了要求戏曲演员具备唱念做打、四功五法外,还要了解电视镜语对表演的要求。电视镜语,顾名思义,就是电视镜头的语言,也就是我们常说的蒙太奇。戏曲电视剧便是通过一个个电视镜语来展现戏曲和故事。
