针对申嘉湖高速公路工程自身的自然地理条件和沿线地区经济发展建设情况,在设计的过程中,采用了符合实际的总体设计要点和路线总体布置情况,主要包括:路线方案比选与调整;主要技术指标的应用;“合理路基高度”同道路通道的归并、改移和下挖;软土地基的处理方案、适用条件及处理效果;路基填筑及同“沪苏”的比较;互通立交的设置及设计方案;桥型方案;青山坞隧道;景观设计等方面。并结合驾车体验的情况,详细分析了各设计要点4年来的运营效果,说明了采用以上设计方法的合理性和优越性。申嘉湖高速公路工程中采用的设计方法,为在以后类似高速公路的设计提供了借鉴意义
