Chinese cement industry has been deteloping rapidlysince implementing the reforin and open policy in China, andmaking China a biggest cement-producing country in the world.It will be even more splendid in the coming 21st century. TheState Administration of Building Materials Industry (SABM1 ) hasdecided the short-and long-term objectives for cement industrydevelopmet, i. e., making effort on developing new-dry processtechnology, readjusting and optimizing the industrial stmcture,strengtheing the ednical innovation, profiting the industry bybroadening the productive scale, upgrading the quality of cement,pronoting cement export and estabishing the turnkey contractivesystem for plant construction, etc. The Chinese cement industrywill be developed along a line as, “From big to strong, andstrong on new technology”. This is the strategy of Chinesecement industry detvlopment facing the new era.
