Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced the improvements to the YS1000 series single-loop controllers and was released on June 13 to all markets except Japan. The controller features a new Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD with improved display characteristics and a more easy-to-maintain design. Single-loop controller is widely used in factories, such as power plants, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants and so on. These controllers receive temperature, flow, pressure, and other types of measurement data from the sensors and, in order to keep these values within the desired range, send control signals to valves and the like
