一、英国的地磁测量 1.地磁测量概况英国上一次地磁测量是在1956年进行的。由于经费的原因,停顿了三十年,于1985年才恢复了英国的地面地磁测量。英国地调局(British Geological Survey)的地磁研究组(Geomagnetism Resevrch Group)负责英国的地磁测量。英国重新恢复地磁测量的原因主要有两个,第一,要准确、详细地掌握英国地区地磁场的时空分布变化规律,就必须进行地磁测量。英国有三个地磁台,即Lerwick台、Eskdalemuir台和Hartland台,如果只根据这三个台的地磁资料,把三十年前的地磁测量资料外
First, the British geomagnetic survey 1. Geomagnetic Survey Overview The last British geomagnetic survey was carried out in 1956. Due to funding reasons, a standstill for thirty years did not resume the geomagnetic survey of the United Kingdom in 1985. Geomagnetism Resevrch Group of the British Geological Survey is responsible for geomagnetic surveys in the United Kingdom. There are two main reasons for the resumption of geomagnetic surveys in the UK.
