近年来音乐史学的研究方法和发展方向一直是音乐学界关注的问题,自音乐学作为一门学科发展以来,音乐学家采用了诸多的研究方法如实证主义、风格批评、社会文化史等来研究音乐。20世纪60年代以来音乐学界对音乐学又提出了新的方向,即音乐史学研究与民族音乐学相结合的方法。美国音乐学家率先做出榜样,将艺术音乐和民间音乐融合为一体,摆脱了欧洲传统音乐史学的束缚,走出了一条自己的道路,从而证明了综合传统音乐史学和民族音乐学的方法是可行的,也是必要的。中国音乐的史学研究同样可以立足于我国的社会文化历史,走自己的发展道路,创造出中华民族自己的音乐发展方向。
In recent years, the research methods and development direction of music historiography have always been the focus of music scholars. Since the development of music science as a subject, musicologists have used many research methods such as positivism, style criticism, social and cultural history to study music. Since the 1960s, music scholars have put forward a new direction for musicology, that is, the combination of musical historiography and ethnomusicology. American musicologists took the lead in setting an example by combining the artistic music with folk music, getting rid of the shackles of European traditional music historiography and stepping out of their own way, thus proving that the method of synthesizing traditional music historiography and ethnomusicology is feasible It is also necessary. The study of history of Chinese music can equally be based on the social and cultural history of our country and go its own way of development to create the direction of development of the Chinese own music.
